Menopause often shows up right in the middle of our careers—when many women are leading at their highest levels. And yet, it’s also a time when anxiety, depression, brain fog, and sleep struggles can hit hard. Too often, these challenges are minimized, silenced, or overlooked… and careers pay the price.
This isn’t just a women’s health issue—it’s also a workplace and leadership issue. If organizations want to retain experienced women leaders, this conversation has to be on the table.
Research continues to highlight the connection between menopause and mental health.
Symptoms an overlap so closely with anxiety and depression that many women don’t even realize what’s happening. Without awareness and support, women face unnecessary setbacks in both career and wellbeing.
The good news is that menopause is not the end of growth or leadership—it’s a transition. And like any transition, with the right support, it can unlock a whole new chapter of wisdom, resilience, and impact.
